The Problem We Solved

Before Bhaada Buddy, driver operations ran on Firebase with no real-time backend — new orders reached drivers late or not at all, there was no way to push an instant alert the moment a job came in, and the Bhaada team had no admin layer to manage operations city by city. Drivers needed a dedicated app, and the business needed a way to run it.

The Complexity — Real-Time Dispatch Across a Multi-City Fleet

Matching a driver to a new order instantly, everywhere, meant replacing a request-response backend with a real-time one — push alerts the moment an order lands, turn-by-turn navigation built into the pickup and delivery flow, OTP-verified handoffs at every stage, and a wallet that tracks every payout. On top of that, Bhaada needed an admin portal to approve drivers, monitor revenue, and manage coverage and pricing per city.

The Solution — Real-Time Flutter App + Admin Portal

We rebuilt the driver experience around a real-time Node.js and Socket.IO backend, replacing Firebase's request-based model with instant push alerts for every new order. Google Maps' turn-by-turn navigation guides drivers stop to stop, dynamic coupons and a referral system reward activity, and a new admin portal lets the Bhaada team approve drivers, track revenue, and manage coverage — all on the same Uber H3 grid system that powers the customer app's driver matching.

How We Made It Simple

Driving for Bhaada comes down to one loop: go online, wait for the alert, follow the map, confirm with OTP, get paid. The admin portal and H3 grid work invisibly behind the scenes — a driver just sees the next job, the fastest route to it, and the payout landing in their wallet.
